一、On the plane.
(一)Request things. 索取物品
1.Excuse me. Miss. May I have a blanket/ pillow, please? 不好意思，小姐，我可以要一個毯子/枕頭嗎?
2.Excuse me. I think that seat is empty. Would it be possible to switch seats, so I can have a window with the view? 不好意思，那個位置應該是空的，請問我可以換位置嗎?這樣我可以靠窗賞景。
3.A: Excuse me. Could I change seats? (Because the person next to me is snoring loudly.) It’s a 12-hour flight!不好意思，我可以換位置嗎?(因為我旁邊的乘客打呼很大聲)，這是12小時的航班。
B: Sorry about that. ……Ma’am, we can offer you an upgrade to business class, so that you feel comfortable the rest of your flight. 我很抱歉，小姐，我們可以幫您升級到商務艙，這樣您在接下來的航程中可以較為舒適。
(二)Flight attendant 空服員
1.Excuse me, sir/ma’am. Please put your bag in the overhead locker or put it under the seat in front of you.
2.Please raise your window blind and move your seat back to the upright position for take-off. (This is standard procedure for take-off.)
3.You can recline your seat once we’re airborne.
4.Would you like something to drink?
(You: What do you have?)
5.We serve coffee, tea, and soda.
6.Would you like something to eat? We have …, etc.
7.Attention, please. Please remain seated. Move your seat back to the upright position. Fasten your seat belt. Stow your tray table. We are about to experience a slight turbulence.
二、Landing/ Arrive (抵達/著陸)
(一)Getting the baggage (領取行李)
A: Excuse me. Where can I pick up my bag(s)? I checked one bag on my flight here.
B: What was your Flight number? …… Your bag will be arriving on Carousel 5 soon.
A: Thanks.
(二)Connecting flight (轉機)
A: Excuse me, where is the transfer counter? I’ll have to catch my connecting flight to Iceland.
三、Border Control / Immigration (入境)
1.Passport, please.
2.What is your purpose of your visit?
(You: I am on holiday.)
(You: I am here on business.)
(You: I am visiting my aunt.)
3.How long will you be staying? /How long are you staying?
(You: I’ll be here for two weeks. I am leaving on (November 5th).)
4.Where are you staying? (Show your accommodation.)
5.Please put your right hand on the scanner.
6.Now look into the camera here. 1, 2, 3
7.Do you have anything to declare? (有沒有要申報那些東西?)
8.You’re all set. Enjoy your stay!
