Patti Page是50年代最暢銷的女歌手, 專輯銷量幾乎都創下驚人的記錄。在1950年唱紅了「Tennessee Waltz」之後, Patti Page 推出了更多的的膾炙人口的好歌。以及今天要介紹的這首在1952年推出, 被稱為「Novelty song」也就是新奇的創作歌曲。
「How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?」(櫥窗裡的小狗要賣多少錢?) 有趣的是這首歌曲讓當年養狗的人口暴增, Patti Pate 在電視節目裡抱著一隻貴賓犬, 因而在美國當時掀起了一陣貴賓犬風潮。
