Famous Food From All Over Taiwan

台灣雖然只是個島嶼國家, 但各個城市都有其著名的物產小吃。愛台灣的我們, 其實表現愛意的方式很多，最好的方式之一便是藉由英語，大肆向外國友人宣揚代表台灣的美食！

但當你在送外國客戶或外國朋友伴手禮時，卻不知道怎麼用英文介紹? 今天就讓我們來學學一些熱門台灣小吃的說法，以及如何用英文介紹這些小吃。

對話

我: Hey, , a friend of mine is goingback to Taipei. Do you have any idea what famous food from Kaoshiung I can buy for her as a souvenir?

      (嘿伊莉莎白, 我的一位朋友要回台北了, 妳知道高雄有什麼有名

        的食物我可以買來送她當紀念品嗎?)           

娘: How about theChess Cakes? They look like chess and  

         taste really good!

     (棋餅如何? 棋餅看起來就像象棋, 而且很好吃喔!)

我: Hmm...that sounds good! I'll buy

      some tomorrow!      (嗯, 聽起來不錯, 我明天就去買!)

➡️ 棋餅故事由來 :

     媽媽因兒子常因為專注下棋而忘了吃飯，而唸說乾脆把棋子拿來當飯吃好了  於是即發展成棋餅的概念。有花生/芝麻/綠豆的口味。
