Unit2：Luye Highland and Hot Air Balloons
Every summer, people visit Taitung to see something magical—hot air balloons!
Luye Highland is the most famous place in Taiwan for the International Hot Air Balloon Festival. Colorful balloons rise into the sky from green fields. Some look like cartoon characters, while others are big and bright. Visitors sit on the grass, take pictures, and enjoy the cool wind.
In the morning, the sky becomes a rainbow. Some lucky people even ride in a balloon to see Taitung from above. It’s peaceful and exciting at the same time.
But Luye isn’t only about balloons. You can go paragliding, try local tea, or enjoy a picnic. At night, stars fill the sky, and it feels magical again.
