TTXC 2024 opens in Kaohsiung until Oct. 27

The Ministry of Culture (MOC), in collaboration with the Kaohsiung City Government, kicked off the 2024 Taiwan Technology X Culture Expo (TTXC) at the Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung City on Oct. 12. As the largest convergence of technology and culture in the country, it features over 70 works and more than 100 activities, offering a rich array of cross-disciplinary showcases.

Culture Minister Li Yuan remarked that advancements in technology have become essential tools for cultural transmission and preservation, such as in film restoration techniques. He emphasized that the ministry will continue to launch initiatives leveraging the latest technologies, including artificial intelligence, to present Taiwan’s culture on the global stage.

The Bureau of Cultural Affairs of the Kaohsiung City Government noted that TTXC, running until Oct. 27, highlights three main exhibitions: the future-focused “G.A.M.E,” the culture-tech showcase “INNOVATIONS,” and “XR DREAMLAND,” Asia’s largest extended reality (XR) exhibition.
